Eighth-seeded CiCi Bellis of Atherton defeated seventh-seeded Caroline Dolehide of Hinsdale, Ill., 6-4, 6-1 Sunday to win the girls 16 singles title at the prestigious Easter Bowl in Rancho Mirage.
Bellis, who turned 14 last Monday, had ousted top-seeded Francesca Dilorenzo of New Albany, Ohio, 7-5, 6-2 in the quarterfinals and fourth-seeded Emma Higuchi of Los Angeles 6-2, 7-5 in the semifinals.   Higuchi beat Bellis in last year's girls 14 final.
